Please note - - Each class is designed with a proper warm up and cool-down so please plan accordingly and be on time. It is very important to dress properly and bring water to re-hydrate.

 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS


AQUA GOLD - Water exercise that offers LOTS of fun in shallow water .  You will have moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.  No swimming ability is required, and a kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.

BOOTCAMP -
A challenging workout that includes a high impact workout.  You do a little bit of plyometrics, cardio, core, muscle sculpting.

CARDIO KICK –
A combination of high impact and intense cardiovascular exercises that blends boxing and kicking moves for a total body workout.
 
CARDIO SPIN -
Pedal your way to the best shape of your life by working out on high performance stationary bikes.  All fitness levels can participate-you control your ride! 30-45 minutes of exciting stationary cycling routines including sprints, hill climbs, and much more.  (Beginner class will be less intense for those who are intimidated by the regular class.)

HARD-CORE -
A form of exercise to strengthen the Power Center of your body.  The class is designed to enhance your weight training, cardio works and overall posture.  A strong Power Center tones muscles at the core of your body which leads to good health.

KETTLEBELL SCULPT -
Kettlebells, the hot new dynamic training tool that delivers an intense workout that can be done in half the time of a traditional workout, while producing twice the results.  Just like a muscle sculpting class but with a bell.

LEARN TO CARDIO SPIN (Beginner) –
A 45 minute class that will teach you how to set up your bike, how to use the tension on the bike and how to have fun.  Great for a beginner’s workout.  You can lose inches while having fun and to change up your workout.

MUSCLE SCULPTING -
A non-impact, energizing total body sculpting experience for those who currently weight train as well as those who are looking to begin weight training.  It consists of a total body toning class that utilizes hand weights, resistance bands, bars, as well as balls to work all the major muscle groups.  This class is perfect to do before or after a cardio workout.  

Cardio Gold -
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

SILVERSNEAKERS® -
Muscular Strength & Range of Motion – Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

STEP INTERVAL  -
A class meant for both beginners and intermediate.   It consists of a blend of step patterns and muscle strengthening utilizing bands, weights and/or tubes.  A fun and exciting class you will never get bored with.

STEP N SCULPT –
A combination meant for beginners and intermediate.  Join in on the fun and work up a sweat while you learn how to step. You will also learn how to strengthen your upper and/or lower bodies with free weights or bands throughout the class.

SUN SALUTATIONS -
A vigorous yoga practice that lengthens and strengthens every muscle group.  It's a total body workout for the mind, body and breath.

SUPER ABS -
A 30 minute of intense core strength training that includes exercises to work abdominal muscles, obliques and low back.

STEP INTO FITNESS -
Expect to sweat as you being this class with step aerobics and end with muscle sculpting and resistance training. This class is moderately difficult and meant to increase cardiovascular endurance, muscle strength and flexibility. We use step, weights, bands and more.

TAI CHI –
A form of traditional Chinese mind/body exercise and meditation that uses slow body movements and controlled breathing.  It improves balance, flexibility, strength and is an overall stress reducer.  

WATER AEROBICS -
A complete workout in our pool with water temps at 85 degrees.  The class consists of cardio as well as weight training and stretching.

YIN YOGA –
Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching. It is good for increasing flexibility/balance and  is good for relieving stress and relaxing. Yoga is used as a meditation technique for thousands of years to help relaxation, range of motion, flexibility and balance.  YIN Yoga poses are held for longer periods to lengthen and strengthen all major muscle groups.  There is a heavy emphasis on breathing and relaxation techniques.  

ZUMBA –
A combination of high energy and motivating movements with Latin/International  music.  The routine consists of fast/slow rhythms to target and sculpt the core area.  It’s a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.  It’s different, fun and effective. ZUMBA GOLD – same but at a slower pace.
